Karbala and subcontinent
Every year millions of Muslims and non-Muslims all over the world come together to commemorate, mourn and remember the sacrifice of Imam Hossein, the grandson of the holy prophet Muhammad (PBUH) who bravely stood against the injustice and tyranny. Of course it must be said that his uprising was not merely a revolutionary act at the level of his society, but it was a message to all the human beings who care about humanity to stand against oppression and try to establish justice, no matter how strong the enemy is.
Considering this important message, in this especial edition of "The Subcontinent" we are going to focus on the potential of the story of Karbala and the Arba'een event in uniting the people of the subcontinent and also, we will look into the obstacles to this process of unification.
