Iran vows response to possible IAEA Board resolution

Iran says it will react accordingly to a possible resolution by the International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors. The draft resolution would call on Tehran to provide the Agency access to two locations, a request Iran has denied, citing the fraudulent nature of the information provided to the Agency by the Israeli regime.
The International Atomic Energy Agency’s Board of Governors discusses a draft resolution against Iran. Its main authors, Britain, France and Germany are calling on Tehran to provide the IAEA access to two locations as requested by the Agency in two separate reports.
Iran’s IAEA ambassador Kazem Gharibabadi has described the move as political maneuvering, promising action if the resolution is adopted.
The three European countries say they are still committed to preserving the nuclear deal with Iran, known as the JCPOA, saying the Agency’s requests for access are unrelated to the nuclear deal but pertain to Iran’s safeguards obligations as an IAEA member state. Gharibabadi contested that argument.
Iran says the agency’s requests are based on fraudulent information provided by Israel.
