Iran warns US against disrupting fuel shipment to Venezuela
Iran’s Foreign Minister warned the United States on Sunday against deploying its Navy in the Caribbean to disrupt the course of Iranian tankers carrying fuel for Venezuela.
In a letter to the United Nations Secretary General Antonio Guterres, Mohammad Javad Zarif described “the illegal, dangerous and provocative US threats [against the Iranian tankers]” as a form of piracy and a big threat to international peace and security.
