To Italy, Cristiano Ronaldo has fired reigning Serie A champions Juventus four points clear at the top of the table with a brace in a 2-1 win at home to Parma.
The Portuguese superstar opened the scoring late in the first half when his low strike took a deflection and nestled in the net. However, 10 minutes into the second half, Andreas Cornelius levelled the match for Parma as the Danish striker rose above Ronaldo to nod in a towering header.
But Ronaldo's response was ruthless, as he met Paulo Dybala’s cutback with a first-time finish just 3 minutes later to ensure the three points belong to Bianconeri.
The win gave Juventus an unexpected boost in the title race as 2nd-placed Inter were held to a 1-all draw at Lecce who are just one point above drop-zone.
