Two goals inside the opening 10 minutes have helped Juventus leapfrog Inter Milan at the top of the Serie A, after a 2-1 victory at Roma.

Early in the third minute, Turkey International Merih Demiral scored his first goal for the Old Lady, by turning home Paulo Dybala's well-taken free kick.

Dybala then won a penalty for Yuve, and Cristiano Ronaldo converted the spot kick to take his tally to nine goals, in his past six Serie A matches.

The hosts were awarded a second-half spot kick after a VAR review for handball, and Diego Perotti made no mistake to send the ball home, but it proved to be a mere consolation for Roma, as Juventus capitalized on Inter Milan's Saturday draw against Atalanta, to move up to the summit.
