There is evidence that corruption is a legitimate problem in Israeli politics and many investigations have taken place into allegations of influence peddling and bribery. Among Israeli officials, many are indicted for bribery. For example Israel’s longest-serving leader is indicted for bribery, fraud and breach of trust.
