United Nations' recent sanctions against North Korea

North Korea has condemned the new UN sanctions on the country as an act of war, saying they will boost its nuclear deterrence to counter US threats. Pyongyang also says the US and other countries that supported the measure will pay a heavy price for that.

In this episode of The Debate, Press TV has conducted an interview with two former US diplomats, Michael Springmann  and Edward Peck, both from Washington, to discuss the consequences of the UN Security Council's recent sanctions against North Korea.
