A zoo in the US state of Georgia has finally displayed a pair of giant panda cubs and their mother to the public months after they were born.

The panda twins Ya Lun and Xi Lun who were born in September at Zoo Atlanta, now have the chance to explore a dayroom habitat alongside their mother Lun Lun.

After surviving a fragile period of infancy, the pair have reached a number of milestones in private including receiving their names and being finally presented to their mother.

But now visitors to a giant panda conservation center at the zoo, may get the chance to catch a glimpse of the 4-month-olds while they are at their mother’s discretion.

Since the beginning of their public display, the twin girls have proved themselves determined to learn how to walk, taking 1 wobbly step at a time.

Giant panda’s represent Atlanta Zoo’s most significant financial investment in wildlife conservation that amounts to 10,000,000 dollars.
