China is receiving a record-breaking number of tourists during its 67th National Day holidays.

Several tourist attractions in China are welcoming an unprecedented number of visitors during the week-long National Day festivities.

Some sites in the country have already seen more than 100,000 visitors on the first days of the holiday. But officials expect an even larger influx of tourists within the next days; they predict a 12 percent growth in the number of trips compared to last year.

China’s revenues from tourism are expected to reach some 70 billion dollars during this Golden Week.
