Afghanistan struggles to tackle economic inequality

Despite billions of dollars poured into the Afghan economy, the country is still suffering from rampant inequality. More than one third of Afghans are living in desperate conditions. The government has pledged to invest more in the agricultural sector in order to address the critical wealth disparity.
