More than 30 forces loyal to Yemen’s fugitive former president are killed in the latest clashes with Ansarullah fighters.
The incident occurred in Zahir district of Bayda province. Yemeni troops and Ansarullah fighters have been battling forces loyal to former President Abd Rabbu Mansour Hadi and al-Qaeda militants across the country for over six months. Meanwhile, Ansarullah fighters and allied army units have killed at least three Saudi soldiers in the Asir region of Saudi Arabia in retaliation for Riyadh’s airstrikes in Yemen. Such attacks have killed scores of Saudi forces.
