British holiday makers leaving Tunisia

Thousands of British holiday makers leaving Tunisia after government's warning of another terrorist attack.

Thousands of Britons who were on holiday in Tunisia are flying home  after London warned about another terror attack in the African country.

The massive departure of the British holidaymakers have sparked harsh criticism from both tourists and Tunisian government which maintains it had done all it could to provide the tourists with security.

In response, UK Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond announced that it was too big a risk not to act. Meanwhile, Ireland warned its citizens against not-essential travel to Tunisia. Denmark also followed the suit.

The warnings come after thirty British tourists were killed in an attack at a beach in Tunisia last month.

It is believed that between 2500 and 3000 Britons are on holiday in Tunisia.

Reports say the massive departure of UK holiday makers have left Tunisian hotels staff in tears as they see their industry in ruin.
