Italian teachers strike to slam education reform bill

Italian teachers and students have launched a strike to protest a government-proposed reform bill, which seeks to cut funding for schools. The move brought all schools across the country to closure on Tuesday. Teachers’ unions argue that the so-called Good School Reform bill is unfair as many substitute teachers will be excluded from the system.
