Nasir Kazmi is serving in the Pakistani media industry for the past 24 years.

Nasir Kazmi started his career with Press Tv as a correspondent from Islamabad- Pakistan, before the launch of Press TV back in 2006.

He is one of the pioneer members of Press TV’s launching team when Iran’s international English broadcast was aired in July 2007.

When Press TV was launched globally, Pakistan was the center of attention for the whole world because of its strategic impotence especially when US and NATO forces launched their offensive in Afghanistan in the name of the so-called war against Terror and to hunt Al-Qaeda leader Osama Bin Laden after 9/11 attacks in the US.

He has covered Pakistan’s historical events for Press TV including the state of Martial Law imposed by the former Pakistani military General Perviz Musharraf in 2007, The Historical “Lawyers movement” of the year 2007, the pro-Taliban’s “Red Mosque” saga, and last but not least the assassination of Pakistan’s two times former premier Benazir Bhutto.

Nasir was the one who break the story for Press TV about the assassination of Benazir Bhutto who was killed in a gun and bomb attack after a rally in Rawalpindi back in December 2007.

Nasir kazmi has covered dozens of the deadliest terrorists attacks carried out by Taliban and Al-Qaeda-linked insurgents in the wake post the 9/11 US War on Terror.

Indeed, the effects of the alleged US war on terror have been the focus of the majority of the news from Pakistan. Because of the collateral damage from the CIA's covert war, the US drone operation in the nation's former tribal regions has sparked a great deal of outrage.

Out of the Pakistani capital, he also got a chance to travel on the Pak-Afghan border to cover the CIA’s years-long drone attacks campaign which resulted in the deaths of hundreds of civilians in recent years.

Besides, he has been covering the "ups and downs" of Pakistani politics from the toppling of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s government in 1999 in a bloodless coup by a military’s top Commander Perviz Musharraf, and later restoration of democracy in Pakistan.

He has also covered the ups and downs of historical bilateral talks and hostile events between the two Asian Rivals Pakistan and India over the Kashmir dispute.

He also covered violent Elections of 2002, 2008, 20013, and 2018.

Before joining Press TV, he has been working for Pakistan’s mainstream news broadcasts including Aaj TV, Asian TV along with Severval English dailies.

He has been Writing articles for India’s top newspaper “Danik Bhaskar” (The Rising Sun) which is the world’s number No. 3 largest newspaper in terms of circulation.

Nasir Kazmi has been serving France National Radio and TV as a news producer from Pakistan for years and arranged several interviews of top Taliban commanders and Pro Al-Qaeda religious figures for the French media.

He has also contributed as a Coordinator and Interpreter in 90 minutes documentary film “Afghanistan: The Price of Revenge” directed by Alberto Marquardt and Eric De Lavarenne Which was aired by French broadcast France 3 and Al-Jazeera English in 20012 and 2013 respectively.
