Houra Shariatmadari started out at Press TV in 2019 as a narrator for the programs department.

Shortly after she became a news writer for Press TV Website at the Middle East desk for some time before she temporarily left the network. Houra resumed her cooperation with Press TV as of summer 2022 as the narrator for “The Subcontinent” and later that year she became the host of one of the predominate  shows

“Iran Today” which is an analysis of major political, economic, cultural, and social events concerning Iran. She also has had the opportunity to conduct several interviews with key figures for the “Face to Face” show.

Houra holds a B.A in architecture from Sooreh University and an M.A in TESOL (teaching English as a foreign language) from University of Tehran. In addition to working with Press TV, she also teaches English courses at Tehran University of  Medical Sciences.
