Amina Taylor a television presenter, journalist, broadcaster and writer. She’s been a Senior Correspondent with Press TV since 2007 and now heads the London Bureau. As a senior journalist, she has travelled extensively and presented programs on historic events such as the Islamic Awakening, Japan’s devastating tsunami and earthquake as well as Scottish independence, Brexit, countless U.K./US elections and can still be found reporting on breaking stories including the UK political merry-go-round and the recent Nottingham triple stabbing.
She is former editor of Pride magazine (Europe’s longest running lifestyle publication for women if colour) and was a columnist for the Guardian newspaper, She Caribbean, The Voice newspaper and written for the Independent, Times, Upscale magazine and many others. She is currently a guest columnist with The Jamaica Gleaner.
Amina has served as host, writer and producer of several documentaries including the three-part series ‘Under the Skin of Black Britain’ and ‘The Killing of Mark Duggan.’
A keen boxer and travel aficionado, Amina currently working on her first non-fiction novel. Her greatest achievement is being mommy to her two boys Cree and Zere.
