A high-ranking Palestinian Islamic Jihad official says the US is not fit to mediate in the Gaza crisis, as it is complicit in Israeli atrocities against Palestinians in the besieged coastal territory.

Representatives of Yemen’s Ansarullah movement and members of a meditation team from Oman have left for Riyadh to negotiate a permanent ceasefire with Saudi officials, news agencies say.
