Sana'a Riadh tensions
Reports say Yemeni armed forces have targeted positions of Saudi-backed troops in Yemen’s Marib and Hadramout provinces. A video circulating online show plumes of smoke following the reported attack in Marib. There is no further detail, and the Yemeni armed forces have not issued a statement in this regard. Earlier, Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Yahya Saree said they had targeted areas including Al-Ruwaik, Al-Abr, Al-Thaniyah, and camps belonging to the so-called First and Third Emergency Brigades. Meanwhile, in an official statement, Yemen’s Foreign Ministry warned that Saudi Arabia’s continued colonial activities and interventions are pushing it toward a point of no return. The developments come amid escalating tensions after Saudi Arabia carried out an attack on Sana’a airport last month.
Israel Lebanon attacks
Israel continues its attacks on Lebanon despite a ceasefire agreement with Beirut. In one of the latest incidents, a Lebanese soldier has been wounded in an Israeli attack on an army bulldozer in the southern Town of al-Mansouri.
Russia-Ukraine war
Russia and Ukraine have exchanged fresh fire, with both sides reporting strikes on military and civilian-related targets as the conflict intensifies on land and in the sea. Russia's Defense Ministry says its forces struck three vessels in the Black Sea that were allegedly transporting Ukrainian military cargo. Earlier, Russian missile and drone attacks across Ukraine killed at least 21 people, including 17 in the Kiev region. Meanwhile, a huge explosion was heard across Moscow and its surrounding suburbs, while authorities reported drones over several regions. In the city of Yekaterinburg, a Ukrainian attack triggered a fire at a logistic hub belonging to Russia’s biggest online retailer, Wildberries. The company says the blaze was contained and most goods were not damaged. Ukrainian drone strikes have repeatedly targeted Wildberries’ facilities in recent weeks.
