Revenge for blood of martyred leader
The leader of the Islamic Revolution says the Iranian nation demands revenge for the blood of the martyred leader, adding that the vengeance must definitely take place. Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei said the criminal enemies who long for a peaceful death in their own beds, will carry that wish with them to the grave. He described avenging the martyrs’ blood as a divine mission, adding that free and noble people around the world will soon play a role in fulfilling it. The current leader of the Islamic Revolution also praised the historic turnout of tens of millions of people at the funeral ceremonies for the martyred leader. Ayatollah Khamenei expressed gratitude for the astonishing and historic participation of people in the Iranian cities of Tehran, Qom and Mashhad as well as Iraqi cities of Najaf and Karbala. He said the nation will continue the martyred leader’s path, and will steadfastly follow the straight path that he has laid out without fearing hardships.
US disinformation campaign
A senior Iranian intelligence source has told Press TV that the United States is waging a coordinated campaign of pressure, threats, and media disinformation against the Islamic Republic as tensions over negotiations continue. The source said Washington is using media outlets close to the US administration, including Axios, to spread false and repetitive claims about Iran's negotiating positions. The official dismissed reports that Tehran had requested negotiations or that so-called rogue forces were operating in the Persian Gulf. The source described the reports as baseless allegations designed to shape public perception. The source also stressed that Iran remains committed to implementing Paragraph Five of the Memorandum of Understanding on the administration of the Strait of Hormuz. The official said the country will not be swayed by US media campaigns, pressure, or threats.

Iran’s Judiciary Chief says the US and Israel must face punishment proportionate to the war crimes they have committed against the Iranian nation. Gholamhossein Mohseni Ejei said Iran is determined to pursue and prosecute the perpetrators of those crimes. He added that in addition to international legal action, Iran also seeks to hold the criminals accountable before a public court. He said the perpetrators must pay retributions as well.
