Sound of the US 'broken bones' will soon echo across the globe: Leader’s advisor

A senior advisor to the Leader of the Islamic Revolution Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei says the world will soon witness the “shattering of American power” as a result of Washington’s persistent strategic blunders and Iran's unwavering national unity.

Mohsen Rezaei, also a member of Iran’s Expediency Discernment Council, wrote in a post on X on Friday that Iran “stands unified, integrated, and of one voice; whereas the United States is plagued by confusion and persistent strategic blunders.”

“By the powerful hands of Iran’s courageous sons and the united ranks of a devoted nation, the sound of the broken bones of US power will echo from the Persian Gulf and the Sea of Oman to the entire world."

The leader’s advisor’s remarks come as, according to analysts, US President Donald Trump grows increasingly desperate to end the war he launched alongside Israel against Iran on February 28.

His administration has been trying to accelerate a diplomatic process that remains outside Washington’s full control and ultimately requires Tehran’s agreement.

On April 11–12, Pakistan hosted talks between the US and Iran after brokering a 14-day ceasefire on April 8. The high-level talks, however, ended without an agreement due to Washington's excessive demands.

Trump unilaterally extended the ceasefire just hours before it was set to expire on April 22, after Tehran refused to take part in a new round of negotiations in Islamabad under the shadow of Washington’s threats and an illegal naval blockade.

On April 13, the US imposed an illegal blockade on Iranian ports.

Iranian Parliament Speaker and lead negotiator Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf has warned that Washington and Israel will not achieve their goals "through bullying.”
