Operation True Promise 4: Day eight

On March 7, the conflict widening across West Asia entered its eighth day.

Before sunrise, the drone unit of the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps Navy carried out a large-scale attack on Al Dhafra Air Base—one of the largest and most important aviation facilities for US forces in the Persian Gulf and the Strait of Hormuz, and a key command-and-control hub. Iranian drones struck multiple targets inside the base, including the US air warfare command centre, satellite communications facilities, early-warning radars, and fire-control radar systems. And it was just the opening hours of day eight.
