Even as government officials negotiate with Washington over U.S. President Donald Trump's tariffs, South Koreans are pushing back on cutting a deal.

Trump's tariff war threatens to drive the global economy into recession as he ignores long negotiated free trade agreements.

Civic leaders here also decry South Korea's negotiating team, with concerns they will accept a deal that will also see South Koreans pay even more for U.S. troops stationed in the country.
