The Gaza Ministry of Health has confirmed the death of at least 41 Palestinians in the besieged territory over the past 24 hours.
The figure includes two bodies recovered from under the rubble, the ministry reported on Sunday.
More than 6o injured Palestinians have also been brought to hospitals, it said.
Many victims of Israel’s bombardment remain under the rubble and on the roads. Many have been unable to reach medical personnel or health facilities.
Since March 18, Israel has massacred over 670 Palestinians in Gaza, notably women and children. More than 1,200 Palestinians have also been injured.
The overall death toll from the Israeli campaign of genocide in Gaza since October 7, 2023 has risen past the 50,000 mark.
The Gaza Government’s Media Office warned on Sunday that 2.4 Palestinians in the territory face an unparalleled humanitarian disaster.
“The Israeli regime has continued its systematic policy of genocide and by targeting unarmed civilians, and, their homes, and infrastructure,” the office said.
By blocking the entrance of food and medical supplies, the Israeli regime is deliberately starving the people of Gaza, the office warned.
It underscored the silence of the international and Arab communities, which has emboldened the regime to continue its crimes without accountability.
