Israel-Hamas ceasefire agreement stalled
The first phase of the Gaza ceasefire has ended without a breakthrough. This was the conclusion that was reached after mediators met in Cairo for the first serious round of negotiations aimed to move the Israel-Hamas ceasefire into its second phase, but that failed to materialize. This comes as the release of captives in return for Palestinian prisoners has taken place.
