Isreal Lebanon pullout deadline
Lebanon's army says it has deployed in southern border villages and areas previously vacated by Israeli troops, following the expiration of a withdrawal deadline under a truce with the country. Military units were deployed in several towns, including Aabbasiyyeh, Kafr Kila, and Marjaayoun among other locations near the Israeli border. This move comes after the Israeli Occupation Forces withdrew from the area. Earlier, Israel said it would stay in five strategic locations. Israeli forces began withdrawing from some border villages on Monday but remained in several key areas. Under the ceasefire deal, Israel was supposed to leave south Lebanon over a 60-day period that was extended to February 18. Hezbollah and the Lebanese government have warned against any extension of the withdrawal period. The Israeli regime has repeatedly violated the ceasefire agreement by launching strikes on the Arab country.
Gaza ethnic cleansing plan
Israel is set to create an agency aimed at facilitating the displacement of Palestinians from Gaza as the regime presses ahead with its ethnic cleansing plan for the besieged territory. That is according to a statement released by the Israeli Israel minister of military affairs Israel Katz. He said the new directorate will promote what he called the voluntary departure of Palestinians from Gaza. This announcement is the latest in a series of inflammatory actions taken by the Israeli regime following US President Donald Trump's controversial plan to displace Palestinians from Gaza. The statement was met with strong condemnation by the UN, and many countries across the world including US allies as a flagrant violation of international law.
