The United Nations organization for Palestinian refugees, UNRWA, has warned that Israeli military raids in the occupied West Bank have displaced 40,000 Palestinians and the regime is systematically annexing the territory.

UNRWA said on Tuesday that 40,000 Palestinians have been forced to evacuate the occupied West Bank since January.

The forced displacement of Palestinians at the hands of the Israeli regime is escalating at an alarming rate, said the organization.

The Israeli regime’s forces have conducted massive raids, storming towns, and demolishing Houses, the organization added.

Since January 21, Israeli forces have been targeting the Jenin refugee camp, and the raids have expanded to other refugee camps, said the organization.

According to the UN agency, Tulkarm, Nur Shams and Far’a refugee camps have been under constant attacks and have been “nearly emptied of their residents.”

The four camps were collectively home to some 76,600 Palestinian refugees, most of whom have been forced to flee, the organization said.

Since January 30, UNRWA is no longer in contact with the Israeli regime’s authorities, after they banned its activities in Palestine.

“This makes it impossible to raise concerns about civilian suffering in the Palestinian territory,” the organization said.

“This puts at grave risk the lives of Palestine refugees and the UNRWA staff that serve them,” the organization warned.

“Repeated and destructive operations carried out by Israeli forces “have rendered the northern refugee camps uninhabitable, trapping residents in cyclical displacement.”

According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health statistics since the start of 2025, the Israel regime has carried out 38 air raids targeting the occupied West Bank.

At least 70 Palestinians have been killed in the occupied West Bank during the Israeli regime’s military attacks this year, the Ministry reported.

Since January 15, when Israel reached a ceasefire agreement with Palestinian resistance groups, the regime has increased its heinous actions in the occupied West Bank, including destroying civilian infrastructure, houses and refugee camps.
