US-Israeli genocide in Gaza

The Israeli regime is pushing ahead with its genocidal onslaught on Gaza, killing more Palestinians in its indiscriminate air and artillery strikes there. Several people were killed and wounded as a result of fresh Israeli shelling in Jabalia, north of Gaza. Earlier four Palestinians were killed following the bombardment of the Jabalia refugee camp. According to statistics, more than 45,500 Palestinians have been killed and some 108,000 injured since October last year. The figure includes over 12,000 students and more than 600 teachers. Relentless Israeli strikes have also destroyed 425 schools and universities in the Gaza Strip.

Yemen anti-Israel operations

The Yemeni army has carried out fresh anti-Israel operations in support of Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip and in response to the regime’s aggression against the Arab country. According to the spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, the missiles fired at Israeli positions in the occupied territories successfully hit their targets. Saree said that naval, missile and drone forces participated in the joint operation in the early hours Tuesday. He added, the American aircraft carrier, USS Harry S. Truman, was targeted separately with drones and cruise missiles at the time American forces were preparing to launch a major attack on Yemen. Yahya Saree reiterated that anti-Israel operations will continue as long as the regime goes ahead with its genocide of Palestinians in Gaza.

Rejecting US, UK accusations

Iran’s UN ambassador has categorically rejected unfounded claims by the US and UK about Tehran’s alleged role in raising tensions in the Red Sea region. In a letter to the UN chief and the president of the Security Council, Amir Saeid Iravani described anti-Iran accusations as politically-motivated. He added that such allegations are designed to inflame tensions and foment instability in the region. Iravani said anti-Iran allegations are circulated by Israel to distract the world from the regime's ongoing ethnic cleansing in Gaza and aggression against Yemen. He urged the Security Council to fulfill its responsibilities under the UN Charter, stressing that it must not be swayed by Israel’s propaganda. The Iranian diplomat also slammed the US and UK for supporting the Israel regime's illegal actions against Yemen, which amount to serious violations of the UN Charter and international law.
