Yemenis have staged rallies in support of the Gaza Strip and Lebanon which are subjected to brutal Israeli aggression.
On Friday, Yemeni people took to the streets of the capital Sana’a and other provinces across the country, including Sa’ada, Ta’izz, Ibb, al-Bayda, and Hajjah.
Carrying the Yemeni, Palestinian and Lebanese flags, the protesters reiterated their solidarity with the Gazans and the people in Lebanon.
They chanted slogans such as “Oh Gaza (Oh Lebanon), we are with you. You are not alone.” and “Swearing by the blood of the martyrs, we will not fear the deception of the enemies.”
They slammed the American support for Israel, hailing the Yemeni retaliatory operations against Israel and the US.
A statement issued by the organizers of the protest praised “the courageous and historic” decision of the leader of Yemen’s Ansarullah resistance movement, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, to conduct an operation against an American aircraft carrier and a number of US warships in the Red Sea and in the Arabian Sea which thwarted a planned US attack on Yemen.
The statement also condemned the Western-backed Israeli war on Gaza that extended to the occupied West Bank and Lebanon.

On an almost weekly basis, Yemenis have been staging mass protests across the country to condemn the Israeli atrocities in Gaza and Lebanon, and to reiterate their support for their country’s retaliatory operations.
Since the onset of Israel’s genocidal war on the Gaza Strip in October 2023, the Yemeni forces have carried out scores of operations in support of the war-hit Gazans, striking targets throughout the occupied Palestinian territories, in addition to targeting Israeli ships or vessels heading towards ports in the occupied territories.
Israel launched the war on Gaza on October 7, 2023, after the Palestinian resistance movement Hamas waged the surprise Operation Al-Aqsa Storm against the occupying entity in response to the Israeli regime's decades-long campaign of bloodletting and devastation against Palestinians.
The regime’s bloody onslaught on Gaza has so far killed at least 43,736 Palestinians, mostly women and children. Thousands more are also missing and presumed dead under rubble.
Israel has also been targeting Lebanon since October 2023, when it launched the genocidal war on Gaza. Since late September, the regime has escalated its strikes on Lebanon, killing hundreds of people.
