The leader of Yemen's Ansarullah resistance movement says Israel has been committing crimes against Muslim nations in a bid to subdue the region, but its project is doomed in the face of the resilience of resistance fighters.
Delivering a televised speech on Thursday, Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said that "Zionism is an aggressive and destructive project targeting the Islamic nation, especially the Arabs, to enable the Israeli enemy to control ... the Arab countries in a wide geographical area, which they call 'Greater Israel'."
"The Zionist project is doomed to fail because it is inherently aggressive and poses a danger to all humanity," he stressed.
He made the remarks a day after the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah confirmed the martyrdom of the head of its Executive Council, Sayyed Hashem Safieddine, in an Israeli terrorist strike on southern Beirut.
Houthi offered condolences to the Muslim world over Safieddine's martyrdom, describing him as a "great fighter" who played a tremendous role in the battle against the Zionist enemy.
He also noted that the occupying regime has been targeting senior resistance leaders as part of its "futile" efforts to break the morale of resistance fighters.
The loss of resistance leaders "in such critical times is a great loss for the Ummah, but the occupation's plans to exploit this are an illusion," he added.
"The enemy's hatred blinds it from understanding history, pushing it to continue its criminal path."
Since early October 2023, Israel has been waging brutal two-front aggression that has killed at least 42,847 people in the Gaza Strip and 2,593 others in Lebanon, among them several resistance leaders.
While bogged down in the quagmire of the wars, the usurping entity has recently stepped up its threats to inflame the entire West Asia.
'Massacre of civilians not military gain, but act of genocide'
The Ansarullah leader emphasized that Israel's massacre of Palestinian children and women in the besieged Gaza is not a military achievement, but an act of genocide.
"On the military level, the Israeli enemy is clearly failing in Gaza and ... Lebanon," he said.
Meanwhile, Houthi censured some regional countries for their "shameful" inaction towards horrendous Israeli brutality in Gaza.
He further lashed out at the Western countries, particularly the US, Germany, France, and the UK, for providing weapons to the "criminal Zionist regime."
"The Americans have opened all their weapon arsenals for the Israeli enemy, while the Arabs have chosen cowardice," he pointed out.
Houthi also hailed the steadfastness of the Axis of Resistance in the region, saying it keeps carrying the banner of "awareness, insight, and faith" in the divine path.
Moreover, he stressed that Hezbollah's solid resilience in Lebanon has "shocked" the Israeli enemy.
"The Lebanese front has established the Jaffa-Tel Aviv equation and turned Haifa into a ghost town, with occupiers spending most of their time in shelters," the Ansarullah leader said.
Similarly, he appreciated the steadfastness of the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, which has been conducting numerous operations against sensitive targets across the occupied territories in solidarity with the Palestinians in Gaza.
