Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi of Iran and King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain have met and discussed relations and the latest developments in the region, most notably the escalation of Israel’s atrocities in the Gaza Strip and Lebanon.
Heading a delegation, Araghchi arrived in the Bahraini capital, Manama on Monday on a two-leg trip that will also take him to Kuwait.
The top Iranian diplomat placed a premium on the need for the regional countries to seriously work for an end to the Israeli barbarism, which includes the one-year-old campaign of genocide in Gaza and the aggression against Lebanon.

For his part, the Bahraini king called for an end to wars and aggression in the region.
