Qalibaf: Only a part of Iran's military might shown to Israeli enemy
Iranian Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Qalibaf says the Islamic Republic has shown just a part of its might in its missile retaliation against the Israeli regime.
"Only a part of Iran's power was shown to the aggressors," Qalibaf wrote on the X social media platform on Tuesday, commenting on the Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC)’s missile operation against Israeli targets in the occupied territories.
"With all our strength and based on the right of legitimate defense, we stand against the Zionist regime's warmongering,” he added.
The Tuesday night Operation True Promise II targeted several military bases around Tel Aviv.
Qalibaf, meanwhile, warned that some "unexpected plans" had been prepared in proportion to the threats that are posed by the Israeli regime.
“If you knew what has been prepared for you, you would stop threatening the proud nation of Iran right now,” Qalibaf wrote.
Earlier in the day, Iran launched hundreds of missiles toward the Zionist military and intelligence bases in a retaliatory attack dubbed Operation True Promise II, which set off sirens all over the occupied Palestinian territories.
Flares and missiles were seen in the Tel Aviv sky and explosions could be heard in the occupied al-Quds, while “direct hits” were reported in Negev, Sharon, and other locations.
The operation came in response to the regime’s assassinations of Hamas’ chief Ismail Haniyeh, Hezbollah’s leader Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, and IRGC commander Abbas Nilforoushan.

Iran's Foreign Ministry asserted that the Islamic Republic had resorted to the reaction in line with its “inherent right to self-defense,” outlined in Article 51 of the United Nations Charter.
Iran’s President Masoud Pezeshkian also said, “A decisive response was given to the Zionist regime’s aggression.”
“Under the legitimate rights and intending to ensure peace and security for Iran and the region, a decisive response was delivered to the Zionist regime’s aggression,” he wrote on X.
