Genocide in Gaza
Israel continues to rain bombs and shells on Gaza, killing around two dozen civilians in its latest strikes on the besieged territory. The regime’s fresh attacks on Gaza City took the lives of at least 19 Palestinians, including women and children. Three other women were killed in an attack on a house in al-Shati refugee camp. On the ground, heavy fighting is underway between Israeli forces and resistance fighters. The regime says 33 of its soldiers have been wounded in clashes in Gaza in the past 48 hours. Israel launched its genocidal war on Gaza in October last year. More than 37,250 people, mostly women and children, have been killed since then.
Yemen supports Palestine
Turnout in pro-Palestine protests across the world shows no sign of waning. In Yemen, Millions of people have held fresh rallies across the country. Yemeni protesters chanted slogans against Israel and its main supporter, the US. Protesters also voiced support for their army’s operations against Israel-linked ships in the international waters. They have been holding million-man rallies every Fridays since the Israeli war on Gaza broke out in early October. Elsewhere, in Jordan, hundreds of protesters took to the streets to express solidarity with the Palestinian resistance in Gaza. Jordanians also slam the Arab countries’ inaction and passivity in the face of Israel’s months-long onslaught on Gaza. Also, In Bahrain, a large Crowd took part in a Pro-Palestine demonstration in the northwestern city of Diraz. They marched through the streets after Friday prayers, holding banners that condemned Israel’s genocidal campaign against Palestinians.
Israel Lebanon strikes
An Israeli airstrike on a residential building in southern Lebanon has left two civilians dead and 15 others wounded. The Israeli attack took place in the town of Janata early on Friday. The regime’s fighter jets destroyed a two-story building with missiles, reducing it to rubble. Following the attack, the Lebanese resistance movement Hezbollah fired rockets at Israeli military bases in the occupied territories. The group has time and again warned that if Israel keeps crossing the red lines by targeting Lebanese civilians, it will pay the price of its action with blood. Tensions are running high along the southern Lebanese border ever since the Israeli regime launched its genocidal war on Gaza. The two sides have been exchanging fire almost on a daily basis.
