US's broken Gaza pier
It was supposed to be US way of showing the world that it cares about the Palestinian lives. Called the US Gaza Pier, it came with a rather hefty price tag.
No problem there. But right from the beginning, the US was criticized for not only acting too late, but using this as a way to hide the military assistance it was giving to the Israeli regime. But no one anticipated the different ways that this would go wrong for the US afterwards.
