May 31: ‘Axis of Resistance’ operations against Israeli occupation

Amid Israel's genocidal war on Gaza, which has killed nearly 36,400 Palestinians so far, including more than 16,000 children, resistance groups in Palestine and across the region continue their operations against the Tel Aviv regime and its Western backers.

The major operations carried out by the Palestinian and regional resistance groups on Friday, May 31, are as follows:

Al-Qassam Brigades’ operations on May 31:

• Sniped two Israeli soldiers in the vicinity of the Sheikh Zayed roundabout in the northern Gaza Strip.

Al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades’ operations on May 31:

• Targeted the “Kissufim” axis with an Aqsa-107 type rocket barrage.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles in the vicinity of Salah Al-Din Gate, south of the city of Rafah, southern Gaza Strip, with a barrage of regular 60-caliber mortar shells.
• Shelled a gathering of Israeli soldiers and a convoy of their military vehicles with mortar shells in the advance axes east of Rafah city in the southern Gaza Strip.
• Targeted a group of Israeli forces positioned in the center of the Jabalia camp in the northern Gaza Strip with a barrage of regular 60-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces storming the city of Nablus in the occupied West Bank, as they passed through the Balata camp, with machine guns.

Al-Quds Brigades’ operations on May 31:

• Engaged in fierce clashes with an Israeli military force near Imam Ali Mosque in the middle of Ajrama Street.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and their military vehicles west of the city of Rafah in southern Gaza with a barrage of heavy-caliber mortar shells.
• Targeted a gathering of Israeli soldiers and military vehicles in the vicinity of Salah Al-Din Gate, south of the city of Rafah, with a barrage of 60-caliber regular mortar shells.

Mujahideen Brigades’ operations on May 31:

• Targeted positions of Israeli military vehicles in the vicinity of the Al-Abd Jabr area, west of Salah Al-Din Gate in the city of Rafah, southern Gaza, with a barrage of 80-caliber mortar shells.

Martyr Omar Al-Qasim Forces’ operations on May 31:

• Targeted a gathering of Israeli forces west of the Zorob roundabout in the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip with mortar shells.

Al-Asifah Forces’ operations on May 31:

• Targeted the position of Israeli soldiers on the supply line of the “Netzarim” axis, south of Gaza City using mortar shells.

Hezbollah’s operations on May 31:

Eastern sector:

• Ramot Naftali settlement was targeted with a salvo of rockets.
• Al-Baghdadi’s site was targeted with Burkan rockets.
• Iron Dome batteries and Israeli soldiers in Marbat al-Za’oura site were targeted with drones.
• The Ma’yan Baruch site was targeted with missiles.
• The Ramtha site in Lebanon's Kafr Shuba was targeted with missiles.

Western sector:

• The 91st Division of the Israeli military in the Baranit site was targeted with Burkan rockets.
• Israeli military building in the Shomera settlement was targeted with appropriate weapons.
• Settlements of Gaatoun, Ein Yaakov, and Yehiam were targeted with Katyusha rockets.

Yemeni military’s operations on May 31:

• Targeted the USS Eisenhower aircraft carrier using several cruise and ballistic missiles in the Red Sea.
