Spain: Thousands demonstrate against Israeli genocide in Gaza
Thousands of pro-Palestinian demonstrators marched in Madrid to denounce the war in Gaza, chanting "Gaza stands firm, the people rise up."
Behind a banner reading "Stop the genocide in Palestine", the crowd waved Palestinian flags and a few South African flags, which were much rarer, in the wake of the decision by the International Court of Justice (ICJ), which called on Israel to "take all measures in its power" to prevent genocide in Gaza.
