Israel Gaza onslaught 

More Palestinians have fallen victim to Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip as the regime presses ahead with its deadly onslaught against the besieged territory.  Dozens of people have been killed after Israeli warplanes pounded more Palestinian houses across the Gaza Strip. Many others lost their lives as a result of the regime's raids on the territory, including in the city Khan Yunis. This came a day after an Israeli airstrike on Gaza’s Al-Ahli Arab Hospital killed close to five-hundred people. That’s the highest single-day death toll in the territory since Israel launched its war on October the 7th. The hospital was packed with people who had fled from northern Gaza after Israel forced them to leave their homes. The regime has falsely blamed the carnage on a misfired rocket launched by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement, which has been strongly denied by the group. Israel’s bloody onslaught has so far claimed the lives of nearly 3,500 Palestinians with more than 12,000 others wounded. 

‘Stop Israeli genocide’

Pro-Palestinian rallies continue in many countries across the globe in a display of solidarity with the people of the Gaza Strip. In the Iranian capital Tehran, people from all walks of life held a massive rally to condemn the Israeli crimes in the besieged territory. Similar demonstrations were held in other cities across Iran and other West Asian countries. Police in the Lebanese capital, Beirut, fired tear gas to disperse angry demonstrators near the American embassy. In the Jordanian capital, Amman, police also fired tear gas to disperse protesters who had gathered near the Israeli embassy to vent their anger at the regime’s crimes. The demonstrators demanded their government close the embassy and scrap a peace treaty with the regime. Hundreds of Tunisians also hit the streets, protesting what they slammed as Israel’s genocide against Palestinians. 

Israeli crimes 

Iran has once again highlighted the necessity of joint efforts by Muslim countries to stop Israeli war crimes and genocide against Palestinians in the besieged Gaza Strip. Foreign minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian made the remark in meetings with his counterparts from Islamic countries. The meetings were held on the sidelines of an emergency session of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation in Jeddah. Amir-Abdollahian said the situation in Central Asia is very critical and can get out of hand. He noted that the Israeli regime has made Palestinian citizens target of its war crimes and genocidal policy instead of confronting the resistance forces following its military fiasco. He said the recent visits to Tel Aviv by US president Joe Biden and his secretary of state were aimed at saving the Zionist regime from political, military, security and social collapse. Iran's top diplomat said the US administration calls on all parties to show restraint in the face of Israel’s crimes, while, at the same time, offering its full support to the Zionist regime.
