Peruvian political crisis was assumed by the oligarchy, as is customary, which embraces genocide, coup, and massacre.
Until April 13, 2023, seventy people lost their lives. Men, women, peasants, indigenous people, and children were murdered. Out of seventy victims 49 were killed at the hands of law enforcement agencies which is documented. 80% of fatalities are of indigenous origin.
The bloodshed occurred in Peru, but it became clear that Peruvian people want to control their own destiny.
Millions and millions have left and continue to leave their cities and villages to come to Lima and claim their demands.
Peru's oligarchy has been wrong once again. The repressions and massacres can't stifle people's desire for freedom, democracy and social justice.
