The Russian attack on Ukraine is the powder keg finally exploded on 24 February not after months but years of tensions between NATO and Moscow, turning the cold war between Russia and the West hot again.

The finger of blame immediately fell on the Russian President. This was … always about naked aggression, about Putins desire for empire by any means necessary, the US President rushed to condemn the attack on the very same day.

Biden, however, did not bother to draw attention to NATOs arrogant policy toward Russia over the past quarter‐century.

As the most powerful military alliance in history, NATO has long been creeping towards Russia, without heeding Moscows warnings. As they say the first casualty when war comes is truth.
