Aukus Submarines Deal: ‘Path of Error and Danger’
Back in September 2021, the US announced a commitment to a shared ambition to support Australia in acquiring nuclear-powered submarines for the Royal Australian Navy.
On March 13 this year, that commitment matured to its next phase with a major summit of AUKUS (top officials from Australia, the UK and the United States) and the announcement of the US plan to provide Australia with nuclear-powered submarines.
