US military budget

US lawmakers have passed a record 858-billion-dollar annual military spending bill. The unprecedented package is 45 billion dollars more than what President Joe Biden had requested. The bill has allocated billions in producing major weapons systems as well as military aid to Ukraine and Taiwan.
