An American political analyst and journalist says Big Tech conspired with the Washington establishment “to hide evidence of the corruption of the Biden family until after the 2020 election.”
Don DeBar, a commentator and radio host based in New York, made the remarks in an interview with Press TV on Thursday following the emergence of new evidence that social media giants plotted with the US deep state to suppress negative reports about Biden’s son Hunter ahead of the 2020 election.
Last week, Elon Musk released what he called the “Twitter Files,” delving into the company's decision to block the Hunter Biden laptop story.
The posts focused on the controversy surrounding Biden’s son Hunter Biden and Twitter’s reaction limiting the spread of posts about it.
Trump suggested the possibility of "termination" of the US Constitution’s rules regarding elections to overturn the results of the disputed 2020 presidential election.
He said the founding fathers of the United States did not want “fraudulent elections” in the country.
Commenting on this DeBar said, “Trump is speaking in response to the release of proof absolute that the US government, through government officials in tandem with the owners and operators of Twitter, conspired to hide evidence of the corruption of the Biden family until after the 2020 election. These are primary pieces of evidence - emails back and forth memorializing these conversations.”
“Compared to the evidence that was offered in support of the claim by Democrats that Russia influenced the outcome of 2016, this one revelation alone is massive,” he added.
"Trump's comments are being used, once again, to accuse him of being a fascist,” said DeBar. "However, the definition of fascism is the unity of private corporate power with the power of the state; this conspiracy is a perfect example of that in action."
“Obviously, however, the suppression of that evidence took place across the media and social media landscape under similar conditions. It is only because Elon Musk acquired Twitter and released this that the evidence is visible to us. And it raises a valid question: what recourse is there when the proof that an election was stolen arises after the statutory period for remedy has run? And it suggests another valid question: why would not a single state or federal district court entertain questions about the facts of election theft? And this one: are we looking at a historically unprecedented architecture of corruption?” he asked.
“And a final question: if so, what is the remedy?” he concluded.
On Monday, Trump responded to broad backlash after he called over the termination of the US Constitution’s rules regarding elections to overturn the results of the disputed 2020 election.
He said the 2020 presidential election was “irrefutably fraudulent,” and it should go to “the rightful winner.”
Trump insisted he does not want to “terminate” the Constitution so he can return to the White House.
“The Fake News is actually trying to convince the American People that I said I wanted to ‘terminate’ the Constitution. This is simply more DISINFORMATION & LIES, just like RUSSIA, RUSSIA, RUSSIA, and all of their other HOAXES & SCAMS,” Trump wrote Monday afternoon, saying he meant that “steps must be immediately taken to RIGHT THE WRONG.”
Trump believes that the election was rigged by the US establishment in favor of Biden. He has said that the 2020 presidential election was “the greatest Election Hoax in history.”
He previously accused Twitter and Facebook of helping Biden to win the controversial 2020 election.
The New York Post published a story in October 2020, less than a month before Election Day, alleging that Hunter Biden used his influence to connect a Ukrainian businessman with his father while he was serving as vice president.
A laptop that allegedly was dropped off at a Delaware computer repair shop included evidence demonstrating Hunter Biden’s actions, former Trump attorney and former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani told the Post.
Twitter took blocked users from sharing the link to the story on its platform.
Pulitzer Prize winner American investigative journalist Glenn Greenwald has revealed in a recent article that an axis of the CIA, Big Tech and the DNC-allied wing of the corporate media spread an absolute lie in the weeks before the 2020 presidential election.
'Biden is a product of an elitist political model'
In an earlier interview with Press TV, DeBar said Biden is “a product of exactly the elitist model promoted by the influential magazine The Atlantic in 2019,
The journalist said that “Biden is a product of exactly the elitist model that Professor Raymond J. La Raja espoused in that article in The Atlantic in December 2019. Biden was not the winner of an open and fair primary process. Instead, he was the choice of a process that was truncated, opaque and obviously rigged, and in those primaries which were allowed to be held, Kamala Harris actually had the least support of all candidates in the group."
In his 2019 article, Raja wrote, "Political professionals—insiders such as county and state party chairs, elected officials such as governors and legislative leaders—are uniquely positioned to evaluate whether contenders have the skills, connections, and sense of responsibility to govern capably. Only they can do the brokering and bridge-building to form majorities and shape coalitions, and ensure that the nominee is acceptable to a broad cross-section of party factions. Only they can reduce the element of sheer randomness that plagues today’s primaries, where a stroke of bad luck in a single state can sink a candidacy. The voters need their help."
"This may seem like an argument for elitism over democracy, but the current system is democratic only in form, not in substance. Without professional input, the nominating process is vulnerable to manipulation by plutocrats, celebrities, media figures, and activists. As entertainment, America’s current primary system works pretty well; as a way to vet candidates for the world’s most important and difficult job, it is at best unreliable—and at worst destabilizing, even dangerous,” he added.
