Tensions are ratcheting up between Turkey and Greece once again, over two Aegean islands near the Turkish coast.
Ankara is accusing Athens of ignoring the non-military status of the two islands of Lesbos and Samos. But a quick history check shows that Greece and Turkey, which are both part of the US-led NATO alliance, have feuded for years over maritime borders and energy exploration rights in the Aegean and east Mediterranean seas.
