Former US President Donald Trump has said that only a doctor's call could prevent him from participating in the 2024 presidential race.

In an interview with Real America's Voice on Friday, the 75-year-old businessman suggested that only a disease could prevent him from running in the next presidential race.

Trump pointed out that only "a bad call from a doctor or something" could stop him from running.

"Things happen. Through God, they happen," said the Republican former president who lost to Democratic Joe Biden in the disputed 2020 US presidential election. "But I feel so good," he added.

Trump has alleged that the 2020 election was “the greatest Election Hoax in history.”

Trump, who believes that the election was rigged by the Washington establishment in favor of Joe Biden, the current US president, slammed GOP Senator Lindsey Graham and Mike Lee for not speaking with him “about the 2020 election scam,” during the last days of his presidency.

Trump said in a recent statement that both senators had been “unwilling to fight for the Presidency of the United States.”

“Republicans who were unwilling to fight for the Presidency of the United States, which would have included at least an additional four Republican Senators, two in Georgia, one in Michigan, one in Arizona, are letting the Democrats get away with the greatest Election Hoax in history,” he stated.” A total con job!”

According to recent surveys, most Republicans believe that the election was stolen from Trump, and Trump was the true winner of the race.

On Jan.6, 2020, Trump supporters staged a deadly attack on the US Capitol in the hope of preventing lawmakers from certifying Biden's victory, thus overturning the outcome of the presidential election in favor of Trump.

Trump supporters clashed with police and tried to beat up a number of Democratic lawmakers. Trump supporters also inflicted damage on parts of the Congress building.

Currently, the US House of Representatives is investigating the attack on Capitol Hill.

Subpoenas have been issued to four of Trump's closest allies, namely, his former chief of staff Mark Meadows, his onetime close advisor Steve Bannon, former White House deputy chief of staff for communications Daniel Scavino and ex-defense department official Kashyap Patel.

A panel of nine lawmakers, seven Democrats and two Republicans, are investigating the deadly attack.

The House select committee is holding its first hearing Tuesday.

The investigating panel believes the four men have knowledge of important details related to the events of Jan. 6 in which at least five people died.

“The Committee is investigating the facts, circumstances, and causes of the January 6th attack and issues relating to the peaceful transfer of power, to identify and evaluate lessons learned and to recommend corrective laws, policies, procedures rules, or regulations,” Bennie Thompson, said US representative from Mississippi and chairman of the House select committee investigating the deadly Jan. 6 incident.
