Israel's lesson from US Afghan withdrawal

The US withdrawal from Afghanistan bears striking similarities to Washington’s 1975 pullout of Vietnam and Israel’s retreat from Southern Lebanon in the year 2000.

Many have concluded that this is another sign of the decline of the US and possibly its allies like Israel.

After all, the US could not even execute an evacuation from Afghan’s capital Kabul, requiring the Pentagon to give briefings to the world, seen as damage control.
