Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif issues a strong-worded tweet, reflecting on the US’s approving sales of hundreds of millions in surgical armaments to the Israeli regime right in the middle of Tel Aviv’s slaughtering Palestinian children in the Gaza Strip.
“As US-made munitions rain down on innocent Palestinians, US gives another $735M in ‘precision’ missiles to Israel to kill more children with more precision,” Zarif tweeted on Tuesday.

Earlier, The Washington Post reported that the United States had rubber-stamped selling $735 million in “precision ammunition” to the brutal regime.
Washington lavishes $4 billion in military aid on the regime every year, something that observers have called its rewarding Tel Aviv for its deadly behavior towards the Palestinians and terrorist activities across the region.
The latest instance of generous arms support came while, since last Monday, the Israeli military has ramped up its assaults against the already Tel Aviv-blockaded coastal sliver.
The escalation has so far killed a total of 212 people, including 61 children and 36 women. Some 1,400 others have also been wounded from the strikes.
The escalation came after the enclave rose up in protest against the regime’s glaring violations in the nearby Tel Aviv-occupied Palestinian territory of the West Bank, where Israeli forces have unconscionably increased their attacks on Palestinian worshippers and protesters.
Gaza’s resistance movements also issued the regime an ultimatum to take its forces out of the al-Aqsa Mosque’s compound in the holy city of al-Quds in the West Bank. The groups were forced to start retaliatory attacks against the occupied territories after Tel Aviv missed the deadline.
The US, which has historically protected the regime against accountability for its genocidal behavior, war crimes, and crimes against humanity, has, meanwhile, prevented the United Nations Security Council from issuing even a condemnatory statement, not to mention an anti-Tel Aviv resolution.
Washington’s stubborn support for Israel came as no surprise since the latter has so far blocked 44 anti-Israeli resolution throughout the Security Council’s history.
“Then US blocks the mildest possible UNSC statement,” Zarif said in reference to Washington’s latest push to shield Tel Aviv.
“The world is watching as Israel & its enabler show their ugly faces,” the top diplomat concluded.
