Beginning with the English Premier League, and Ferran Torres has scored a hat-trick to help champions Manchester City overcome Newcastle 4-3 at St. James' Park.
The Magpies took the lead against the run of play via a header by Emil Krafth in the 25th minute.
Joao Cancelo's deflected-shot restored parity in the 39th minute before Torres put City in front with a clever back-heel attempt.
But Newcastle pulled level in first-half stoppage time when Joelinton converted from the spot, before Joe Willock added a 3rd for Newcastle in the 62nd minute, finishing off his saved spot-kick on the rebound.
But, the Sky Blues were in no mood to surrender and Torres got the equalizer just 2 minutes later before getting his hat-trick and City’s 4th shortly after to complete the turn-around with a lovely strike. The win extended the Champions’ lead at the top of the table to 13 points, while Newcastle are in 16th.
