Marking international Quds rally has been a usual move for Afghans over the recent years, but the threats coming from terrorist groups have prompted them to mark the event in other ways such as holding seminars and special exhibitions.
They say Afghans can fully feel the pain and misery that Palestinians are tolerating since the Israeli invasion of Palestine, because Afghans themselves have felt how difficult is the living conditions under war, invasion and oppression due to decades of war that is still adding to number of graveyards in this war weary country.
Apart from such similarities between Afghans and Palestinians, all Muslims including Afghans look to Al-Quds as their first Qibla that is occupied by the apartheid regime of Israel. Therefore, they say, every single Muslim is responsible to raise his or her voice for liberation of Palestine as a Muslim land.
Besides religious issues that link Palestine and its nation to the rest of Muslims, the vast violation of Palestinians rights by the Israeli regime is also unacceptable for Muslims, that is why marking the international Quds day is considered as a move to convince the international community to adopt logical measures against the Zionist regime that continues to occupy more Palestinian lands.
Calls for the liberation of Palestine are not limited to the Muslim world. Many other independent rights bodies and none Muslim communities mainly in the US and Europe have also raised their voices in condemnation of Israel’s inhuman acts. They believe that Palestinians will finally accomplish in their struggle to liberate their territories.
