In a televised speech on the occasion of international Quds Day, Hezbollah Secretary General Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah said the Palestinian determination is gaining momentum, while Israel and its allies are fading.
The most significant development, he said, is that the resistance movement in the Gaza Strip has entered the fight for al-Quds.
Sayyed Nasrallah demonstrated with examples how the Israeli entity is in a state of decay while the spirit of the people of Palestine especially those under occupation is stronger and their strength is rejuvenating with the continuous solidarity and back-up from a stronger resistance front.
The International Quds Day was also commemorated by Palestinian refugees across Lebanon. The main slogan was that they will not forsake the right of return to their homeland.
As Israeli violations of international law continues and Palestinian families face the threat of forceful eviction from Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood in Jerusalem al-Quds, Palestinian diaspora are more and more vocal in expressing solidarity with their people on al-Quds day.
First Israeli Prime minister David Ben Gurion once said the old will die and the young will forget the uprising in Jerusalem al-Quds, but today seems to have proved him wrong.
Palestinian refugees, some of whom have been in Lebanon since they were expelled from their homeland in 1948 commemorate al-Quds day annually. They say they live and breathe on the hopes that soon they will return to the land of their fathers and forefathers.
