Myanmar: A US-China flashpoint?
Myanmar has been the scene of mass demonstrations against junta leaders ever since the February one coup.
Anti-coup protesters have defied a crackdown by the military, taking the streets in several cities across the country almost daily.
Demonstrators are demanding the release of the countrys de facto leader Aung San Suu Kyi who was detained along with a number of parliament members. They are also demanding the restoration of civilian rule.
