Irans Islamic revolution survived its 40th to celebrate a 42nd anniversary.
Iran commemorates its Islamic Revolution of 1979 each year during the 10-day dawn beginning 31st January in 2021.
It begins with the return date of the first leader of the revolution the late Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini all those decades ago, and it ends with the revolution; the day called Islamic Revolution's Victory Day or 22 of Bahman.
This year is not Irans first year of celebration of its Islamic revolution. However, what matters is how the revolution has survived over four decades riddled with hostility.
Is the secret in its natural resilience or survival skills; perhaps a little of both? Resilience is almost an undeniable attribute of the revolution, looking at its 40th. That was in 2019 when the country faced renewed hostility by Americas Trump Administration, and their attempt at regime change in Iran, to put it in American terms.
